Boat Shipping

BOAT SHIPPING INSIDE OCEAN CONTAINER

Container is the most popular and very affordable way to ship boats. We containerize boats up to 28ft (8.53m) long, and 8.6ft (2.62m) beam (wide) into a 40’ HC ocean container. This method allows our customers to save, on average, 30%-40% of shipping costs compared to Ro-Ro (Roll-On, Roll-Off) and Lo-Lo (Lift-On, Lift-Off) methods.

Shipping Preparation:

  • Fuel, oil, water are drained.
  • T-tops, bimini tops, windshields, batteries are removed and carefully  stowed.
  • Then our technicians fabricate custom-designed frames for every boat. We place your boat inside a container at precise angles, according to your boat’s specifications. These custom designed frames provided fixed and stable towage within the container and prevents damage during transportation. Using these custom-designed frames makes it easy to unload  boats from the ocean containers at the port of destination.

BOAT SHIPPING ON FLAT RACK

Flat Rack is a regular ocean container without a top and sides and gives more flexibility for higher and wider boats with dimensions up to 38ft (11.58m) long. Using a Flat Rack is a great alternative to transport oversized boats to most destinations around the World. This is a good alternative to RORO shipping because it is available to more destination ports and the ships have frequent sailing schedules. We can handle most Flat Rack loads at our export packing facilities with a large lifting capacity. Our specialists can also build custom pallets and crates when it’s required.
(Roll-on Roll-off) is a safe and convenient shipping method.
Shipping rates are based on total volume of the cargo, measured in cubic meters (m³). Our service contracts with ocean carriers will have a positive effect on your shipping costs.
